Assessment
Single Leg Balance
Evaluates balance, proprioception, and single-leg stability across three progressive levels — with a pole, eyes open, and eyes closed.
All AssessmentsCriteria to Pass
- If using the pole, the client must not move the pole while balancing — it is for light touch only, not as a crutch
- The client must not have significant weight through the pole
- Control must be established without assistance (other than the light pole contact if at Level 1)
- The client must not hop, skip, or step to maintain balance
