Tests the ability to disassociate hip movement from lumbar spine motion — a critical skill for deadlifts, RDLs, and protecting the lower back under load.

- Client stays balanced through their feet throughout the movement
- PVC pole maintains contact with head, thoracic spine, and tailbone from start to finish
- Client demonstrates awareness of their end range and stops at end range
- A 60-degree hinge angle is achieved
